Mark Zuckerberg, if you didn’t know, is the main guy behind Facebook. Facebook was originally created allowing a few universities in America to socialise over the internet. However it soon became apparent that the idea of Facebook and the functions it has and had were ones that not only University and college students could use, but were ones that potentially anyone with an internet connection could use. It was what people were crying out for, without actually knowing it. That is why this became such a successful idea.
The Banksy Facebook Revolution page is now on Twitter too, so you can follow the latest updated from the page directly from your Twitter account just by following here at BanksyFBrevolution.
If you still haven’t hopped on board the Banksy Facebook revolution, please check it out. We are trying to change things as a community of people and the more people on board, the better the results will be for everyone.
The Banksy Facebook revolution is about so much more. It’s about having a voice and making yourself be heard.
Take a moment to look around and take in what’s really going on in the world, I’m sure most of you wish you could do something about it.
You can. No ifs or buts. There is nothing stronger than a group of people who are all passionate about something pulling together and fighting for what they believe in. If there’s a will, there’s a way, as they say.
It’s good to know that when people really believe in something, they can come together and let their voices be heard. The Banksy Facebook revolution is just the start of things to come though.
As far as I can make out, this is just the first step in making a difference. Giving people the opportunity to speak out. A way of expressing their opinions and the things that really matter.
It’s easy to forget just how big Facebook is. Half a billion people. It was only a matter of time before revolutions were launched there, right? Look at Egypt. They staged an entire coup…. right on Facebook.
But that’s using Facebook as a direct communication device. Why hasn’t someone tried to launch a revolution using Facebook?
It turns out they have, just not with much success. Apparently, Facebook was simply too big. Until now.
And it comes from the least likely of places. You may have noticed that, in similar fashion to the 80’s cartoon craze that swept Facebook some weeks back, people have started to replace thieir profile pics with art work. But not just any artwork. Someone by the name of Banksy.
Image via WikipediaRemember a month or two back when the cartoon characters took over Facebook and other social networking sites? Was cool, but kind of pointless. Didn’t have a huge message as such and quickly died off.
There’s now a new trend currently taking over social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter now. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, take a look around. Noticed a trend? People changing their profile pictures to something a little more meaningful. That would be a piece of Banksy artwork.

Rumors have been circling the internet that Facebook is to shut down and with social networking sites such as twitter and Facebook itself, it wasn’t long before the rumors hit the headlines.
Youtube is one of the most searched websites on the internet. I’m pretty sure if you are a regular internet user, it is unlikely you go a day without searching for videos to watch on youtube. Or someone sends you a video from youtube.
